2018 Year in Review
Wow. It's 2019. January 13th to be exact. I can't believe we only have 50 weeks left in 2019! While we here at Worth Clark Realty are always looking ahead, we don't want to forget to reflect on our body of work in 2018. Let's get to it!
First, we made a pretty big change in 2018; our property management division was sold in February. In just over 5 short years, our management portfolio exploded from 0 to over 1200 units. All of which were centrally managed from our head quarters in St. Louis.
The sale of the management division was a decision to get back to the real reason why Worth Clark was created, which was to provide a unique platform for real estate agents to conduct business. Call it a reset button or call it whatever. We're pretty darn excited to carry out our original mission.
Here are some company highlights for 2018:
- 167 licensed agents joined Worth Clark in 2018
- One new market opened in 2018 (Springfield, IL)
- Our agents sold over $425 million in sales volume
- Our agents performed 1938 transactions
- Our average sale price was $219,000
- Implemented and upgraded several new tools for agents to better assist their clients
YES. I'm truly inspired by what our employees and agents were able to do in 2018. On behalf of everyone at Worth Clark, I can say that we are very proud of what we have accomplished, and we are excited about where we are heading.
For clients, we are a brand that is focused on the customer experience. Our agents have access to tools that allow them to work smarter and more efficient, which betters the client experience. Our platform is designed for agents to provide better value and more transparency for all of their customers.
For agents, we are a continuously improving platform that will never "just be". Our support and technology is imperative for our agents in the field, and niether will ever be compromised. Without agents, we do not exist. Therefore, our time and attention will always be for a better agent experience.
As 2019 swings into high gear, keep an eye out for Worth Clark yard signs. I have a feeling you'll be seeing even more because for Worth Clark, there's no better time than now.
