We’re very excited to announce that Denise Judson is now the Worth Clark Realty, Kansas City Managing Broker! A proven performer and mentor, Denise will bring her expertise and experience to the KC market. Denise shares her fast-paced realtor life with her hubby of 7-years and three boys, ages 4, 5, and 6!
WOW- how does she do it?! We sat down with Denise, to give you insight into her real estate hustle.
Q. When/Why did you start your adventure as a real estate agent?
A. I started off on the other side of the table, working for a HUD foreclosure closing office. I had always wanted to be a Realtor for as long as I can remember, so I finally got my real estate license in 2012. Shortly afterward, I got married on a beautiful beach in Hawaii to my husband Jackson. I then spent the next three years being pregnant/having babies, while continuing to work real estate for a top-producing team.
Q. When did you join Worth Clark Realty?
A. In August of 2017, another agent told me about Worth Clark. I looked into all Worth Clark had to offer and I was sold immediately! Since joining Worth Clark, I have been a solo agent and have continued to mentor new agents. Residential real estate and mentoring have been my main focuses, but I’ve also dabbled a bit in property management and wholesaling.
Q. What was the BIGGEST reason you joined Worth Clark Realty?
A. The big reason I joined Worth Clark was the freedom they offer to build your business how you want. The wonderful people and great technology has just been icing on the cake!
Q. You’ve proven yourself as a valuable mentor to new agents. When did you start mentoring?
A. At the beginning of 2016, I partnered up with another agent and together, we began to mentor new agents. Helping new agents find success in real estate quickly became something I felt very passionate about.
Q. What do you enjoy most about the mentoring process?
A. Sharing in the excitement of a new agent getting their first client and then making their first sale!
Q. What’s one snippet of advice you’d like to give to new agents?
A. One of my favorite lines to say (stolen from my belated stepmother) is “Activity Breeds Activity”. Anyone can be successful in this business if they’re willing to put in the work and the activity!
Q. What market movements should we keep a keen eye on?
A. With the uncertainty of the Corona Virus and with it being an election year, it could impact sales. I think it’s important we try to stay as positive as possible and work twice as hard to close deals this year!
Q. Technology: What is one app..or two, you couldn’t live without?
A. I really like the Home Spotter app bc you can easily share properties with your buyers and message back and forth. I also use my Genius Scan app quite a bit. It allows you to convert pictures into PDFs right from your phone!
Q. The BIG question...What’s your favorite food?
A. I am a big fan of Chinese and Thai cuisine, but I also love all things Italian!
